Law office Jovanović & Partners was founded in 2010 and successfully performs all legal activities to this day. We provide qualified professional services in all areas of law, with the representation of business entities, real estate, compensation for damages and citizens representation in criminal and civil cases. Our basic principles include professional, reliable and efficient representation of clients before courts, state authority and other entities.
Our Team
Lawyer Milan Jovanovic
- Born in 1978 in city of Prokuplje. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Nis in 2004. During his studies, he participated in the first Law Clinic in English by Professor Lee Schinasi from the Law School, Miami. In "SBB Serbian Broadband" he worked as a "Legal Representative of TD Nis" from September 2004 to December 2007. In "VULIĆ & VULIĆ" LTD Niš he worked until December 2008. After working in the business, he worked as lawyer trainee in law office of Momčilo Kovačević, which is one of the best law offices in Nis. He passed the Bar Exam in 2010, after which he started an independent law office, which works successfully to this day.
- From 2002 until 2014, he actively participated in more than 10 projects, which were mostly related to the reform of the judiciary and the system of execution of criminal penalties. In July 2010, he participated in a seminar of the European Commission in Brussels on the topic of respect for human rights, health care and dignity in prisons. He is currently engaged as a member of the Center for Integrity Niš, an organization that fights against corruption and for the promotion of the rule of law. He speaks English and Russian.
Lawyer Biljana Jovanovic
- Born in city of Prokuplje in 1979. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Nis in 2004, and she passed the bar exam in 2010. From 2004 she worked at AIK Bank as the Head of the Department for Normative and Statutory Affairs and as a legal representative of the bank until 2019, when she joined the Jovanović & Partners office. While working at AIK Bank, she specialized in business banking, commercial law, representation and human resources.
Law trainee Emilija Marković
- Born in 1995 in city of Leskovac. She enrolled in basic academic studies at the Faculty of Law in Nis in 2014 and acquired the title of graduate lawyer in March 2019, with an average grade of 9.00. In November 2020, she successfully defended her master's thesis on the topic "Prison for Women" which earned her the title of Master of law in the field of criminal law, with an average grade of 10.00. She acquired the status of a trainee lawyer on June 14, 2019. During her studies, she was part of the "Practical Lawyers" project, she completed a training program at the "Mobile Legal Clinic" at the "Legal Clinic for Mediation" as well as at the "Legal Clinic for Protection against Discrimination". She speaks English fluently.
Law trainee Milica Bradić
- Born in 1996 in city of Vranje. In 2014, she enrolled in basic academic studies at the Faculty of Law in Nis and acquired the title of law graduate in September 2019. She successfully completed her Master of Academic Studies in Criminal Law in 2020, when she successfully defended her Master's thesis on the topic "Phenomenological and Etiological Aspects of Human Trafficking" which earned her the title of Master of law in the field of criminal law. She completed the training program at the "Mobile Legal Clinic", a project supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. She speaks English fluently.
Law trainee Tijana Zivanovic
- Born in 1997 in city of Nis. She acquired the title of graduated lawyer at the Faculty of Law in Nis in October 2020. She is currently doing his internship in Milan Jovanovic's law office. During her studies she was part of a project called "The relationship between advocacy and mediation". She successfully completed the project and received an internationally recognized certificate.
