Quality defense in criminal proceedings can be the difference between whether someone will be convicted or acquitted or whether the sentence will be milder or more severe. In criminal proceedings we defend the defendants and try to point out all the facts that indicate that the defendant did not commit a crime or if he admits that he committed all the circumstances that could lead to a milder sentence (probation or fine). During its work the office had many successful defenses, acquittals and verdicts in which proceedings were suspended or criminal charges were dismissed.
Representation of the injured parties.
The office also represents the injured in criminal proceedings, especially in cases of traffic accidents, domestic violence, bodily injuries, etc. Representation of the injured parties is extremely important because very often the proceedings take a long time, which is why the active participation of the injured part's representative is required in order to collect any pecuniary compensation or non- pecuniary compensation and save the injured party of the stress.
Representation of people serving prison sentence.
The office has many years of experience in the field of protecting the rights of convicted persons, domestic citizens and foreigners who are serving prison sentences in the Nis Penitentiary, as well as in other institutions in the territory of the Republic of Serbia and abroad.
Misdemeanor proceedings
The defense of defendants in misdemeanor proceedings is of exceptional importance for the reason that if there is no adequate defense, verdicts are passed automatically, accepting the allegations from the request for initiating misdemeanor proceedings. Penalties in these proceedings can be extremely high in the case of companies, but there are also increasing penalties for citizens.
